1986年8月8日大阪の西九条に新設された大阪西YMCAの活動を支援するクラブとして設立。、日本区88番目のクラブとしてワイズメンズクラブ国際協会より正式に加盟が認証されました。

この加盟認証状伝達式（チャーターナイト）は、10月26日（日）、総勢257名の参加者とともに盛大に開催。同時に認証されたメネット会（夫人の会）は、家族ぐるみの交わりと親睦を大切にするクラブの特質を生み出しています。

以来、クラブは地元の方々との結びつきを深めるため“心豊かにワイズ寄席”と題しての寄席の実施や西Y祭りを今はなき、大阪西YMCAと協働で行いました。

特筆すべきは、西Y祭りでメネット会と二人三脚で行った炊き出しやバザーの共催です。メネット会との共催はクラブの礎となり、大阪西YMCAの閉館まで続きました。
このメネット会との共催方式は「21世紀の杜」運動でも多大な力を発揮し、クラブの伝統ともなっています。 

On August 8, 1986, it was established as a club supporting the activities of the newly founded Osaka - Nishi YMCA in Nishikujo, Osaka. It was formally certified as the 88th club in the Japan District by the International Association of Y's Men's Clubs.

The Charter Night ceremony to present this certification was held grandly on Sunday, October 26, with a total of 257 members in attendance. The Menette Club (wives' association), certified simultaneously, fosters the club's distinctive focus on family-centered fellowship and friendship.

Since then, the club has deepened ties with the local community by organizing events like the “Heart-Enriching Wise Yose” variety show and collaborating with the now-defunct Osaka Nishi YMCA on the Nishi Y Festival.

Particularly noteworthy was the joint operation of food distribution and bazaars at the Nishi Y Festival, carried out hand-in-hand with the Menette Club. This collaboration with the Menette Club became a cornerstone of the club and continued until the closure of the Osaka -Nishi YMCA.
This collaborative approach with the Menette Club also proved immensely effective in the “21st Century Forest” movement and has become a club tradition.

“出会い・信頼・友情”を活動の指針に国内や世界の人達との交わりを通して会員相互の心を磨きます。

月例以外の行事も、春には三田の窯元で国内の兄弟クラブを交えた親睦を柱とする会を開催し、お互いの親交を深め友情の輪を拡げています。
国際組織の一員として、国際や地域大会への参加をはじめ、海外の国と地域で5クラブ・国内で5つのクラブと友好関係を結んで交流を重ねています。

奉仕活動もYMCAをはじめ、未来に夢と希望を託す「21世紀の杜」運動を展開、2001年には台湾大震災跡地に復興と友好を願った桜並木の贈呈や2010年にはカンボジアとタイの国境付近で地雷撤去の跡地べみおつくし”中学校を新設贈呈する等、独自の奉仕活動を行っています。

2011年3月11日発生の東日本大震災に対して、国内5つの友好クラブと手をたずさえて、現地の方々の要望に寄り添って被災された方々への支援を行っています。さらに、“MOTTAINA「割り箸を足がかりとして環境問題に取り組んで参ります。

Guided by the principles of “Encounter, Trust, and Friendship,” we cultivate mutual understanding among members through interactions with people both domestically and internationally.

Beyond monthly meetings, we host spring gatherings at Mita kilns, centered on fellowship with sister clubs nationwide, deepening bonds and expanding our circle of friendship.
As part of an international organization, we participate in global and regional conferences, maintaining friendships with five overseas clubs and five domestic clubs through ongoing exchanges.

Our service activities include the “21st Century Forest” movement, entrusting dreams and hope for the future, alongside initiatives like the YMCA. In 2001, we presented a row of cherry trees to the site of the Taiwan earthquake disaster, wishing for recovery and friendship. In 2010, we established and presented a new junior high school, “Bemiotsukushi,” on land cleared of landmines near the Cambodia-Thailand border.

Following the Great East Japan Earthquake on March 11, 2011, we joined hands with five domestic friendship clubs to provide support tailored to the needs of local residents affected by the disaster. Furthermore, we are tackling environmental issues starting with disposable chopsticks through our “MOTTAINA” initiative.
